He has been very instrumental in the success of his Football Club Barcelona and his coach Pep Guardiola accepts that he is really talented. Last season was one that will remain unforgettable in memory of his Barcelona fans. Especially the final against Manchester united. His goal was fantastic and well deserved. Van Dersar never had a chance of stopping him.
I am sure he will continue with his exploits come next season. I wish he could migrate to another club, at least even if it's not the one I support. It would make Barcelona less intimidating. Currently no one wants to play them and it has something to do with their talisman. Messi can really mess with your nerves before the match and with your real self on the pitch.
To think that he is only 24 has a lot time left to perfect his skills and maybe become one of the Football icons like Maradona before him.
What puzzles me is why he didn't perform for his country Argentina in the world cup. Some people said it has something to do with Coach Maradona being not able to bring out his best self.
Whatever the case, today everybody will agree that this is the best player out there today. He has the makings of a legend. It won't take long for that to happen. I am sure the boy is headed there. He will surely have his place in football history. Nobody can doubt that.
